A much improved performance saw the Lightening draw 1-1 with Ladybridge Warriors and considering more than half the team had been off school the previous few days it was a good effort from everyone,Euan Walsh had a good 1st half as did Harry Mcllelan as the Lightening had all the early pressure but the final ball could have been better,Ryan Garner had a good all round performance and scored Lightenings only goal and Matthew Lord made a couple of good saves when it really mattered,Jake Lord did well on the left hand side with some good tackles and runs but the Lightening could not put the final ball through and having had most of the possesion the Lightening will probably feel they should have won the game.Harry Mcllelan was todays man of the match so well done Harry!!!
